In 1910, Hajj Yasseen Al-Draie, may God have mercy on his soul, established a small factory in Hama for cheese production, which was at that time a handmade craft. He went on developing his work and sales diligently and honestly until he topped his way of dealing with his work and his surroundings.

 

In 1965, Khalid Al-Draie followed his father's footsteps in the management of the factory after a deepening his professional study of this industry. He started producing new kinds of cheese after he changed the old handcraft into a modern industry served by technological expertise, and it became a mechanical industry working within sterilized and pasteurized environments through the latest packaging production lines. Then he expanded the factory area to include an additional 5000 meters, and his industry also has extended to include all dairy products. The company headquarters opened in 2003 on Hama-Homs international highway, which became the centre of selling products in wholesale and retail.

 

Perhaps the biggest proof of the high-quality standards that are being followed by Al-Draie Cheese Factory is the remarkable development that has taken place in the enterprise, whereas all its branches has spread across Syria.
